The economy of New Zealand is the 53rd-largest national economy in the world measured by nominal gross domestic product (GDP) and 68th-largest in the world measured by purchasing power parity (PPP). It is one of the most globalised economies and depends greatly on international trade, mainly with Australia, the European Union, the United States, China, South Korea, Japan and Canada. The Closer Economic Relations agreement with Australia means that New Zealand’s economy is closely aligned with the Australian economy.

Currently it market is enlarging due to an increase in foreign trade, the labour force is required to meet supply daily and across the world, the country is seeking for the labour force to push its economy to 20th by the end of 2018 said the prime minister Bill English.

TYPES OF VISA LOTTERY APPLICATION FORM 2018/2019

The following categories of visas are issued by most countries:

  • Diplomat visa
  • Skilled worker visa
  • Tourist visa
  • Study visa
  • Visitor visa
  • Farmworker visa
  • Pilgrimage visa
  • Business Visa
  • Transit visa, Etc.

There are about 185 different types of visas, a great deal of them was not mentioned in this article. However, they all can be broadly categorized into two main categories – Immigrant Visa and Non-Immigrant Visa.

New Zealand family visa is divided into several categories:

Partner Visa is a visa for foreigners that issued to the spouse or partner of a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand, as well as to children who are “dependent” for permanent residence in New Zealand. To apply for this visa, a candidate must confirm that all costs will be borne by the receiving party, be in good health, no criminal record, as well as prove the sincerity and authenticity of the relationship.

Parent Visa – this visa is issued to overseas spouses / partners who are parents of a citizen or permanent resident of New / Zeeland, as well as to dependent children. This type of visa allows to obtain the status of a resident of New Zealand, provided that the sponsor (child) has the status of permanent resident or citizen of New Zealand and has an annual income of at least 30,000 NZ $. Also, the candidates must be in good health and no criminal record.

Brother, sister, adult child – this visa is granted to adult brothers and sisters who are adult children of citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand. Requirements are the same as for “Parent Visa”.

Dependent children visa is issued to children living abroad and wishing to move to New Zealand with their parents (citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand). To obtain this visa, the applicant must prove the status of parents, confirm family relations, be in good health and has no criminal record.

Refugee Family Support Category is a visa that granted to refugee families and enables a person who lives in New Zealand to invite a family as a refugee. The visa is issued on the basis of quotas; on the grounds of a lottery 300 visas per year can be granted. The sponsor is a refugee living in New Zealand, for this he or she goes through a special registration procedure.

Documents required for a family visa must be provided in original or notarized photocopy, in English or translated into English by a registered translation agency.

List of required documents to apply for Family Visa:

  1. Valid international passport (original) or other travel document for each applicant included in the application. The passport validity must be at least 3 months from the date of departure from the territory of New Zealand;
  2. Completed INZ1000 application form with a signature and the date of completion by each applicant and the form with additional information;
  3. photos of size 4.5×3.5 from each applicant (the first and last names of the applicant are written on the back);
  4. Visa fee receipt;
  5. Birth certificate of each applicant included in the application for a visa;
  6. Partner support form INZ1178 for permanent residence should be accompanied by confirmation of the New Zealand partner status (that he/she is a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand), police clearance certificate of the receiving party (partner living in New Zealand) in the country where he/she lived for more than 12 months in the last 7 years before the application date (exception – the territory of New Zealand);
  7. Police clearance certificate from each applicant included in the application, who has reached the age of 17 years or more, confirming the absence of a criminal record in the country of residence, as well as in the countries in which the applicants lived for 12 months or more during 10 years before application date. The certificate must be issued no earlier than 6 months from the date of submission of documents for the visa;
  8. Medical form. The form must be issued not earlier than 3 months before applying for a visa. It is filled in, signed and stamped by a doctor assigned by the immigration authorities of New Zealand:
    1. Each applicant provides completed forms INZ1007 and INZ1096;
    2. For Partner Visa – INZ1201 and INZ1096 Medical form. The form must be issued not earlier than 3 months before applying for a visa. It is filled in, signed and stamped by a doctor assigned by the immigration authorities of New Zealand:
